He was predeceased by: his parents-in-law, Lynn and Anita Uecker. He is survived by: his parents, Marvin Simplot and Catherine Simplot (Eichman) of Highland, Wis.; his wife Sara Simplot of Lodi, Wis.; his children, Abby Schreiber (Garrett) of Lodi and Ben Simplot (Morgan Mack) of Lodi, Wis.; and his brothers, Travis Simplot of Oregon and Jeremy Simplot (Liz Valdez) of Montfort, Wis.. He is also survived by family members and friends.

The family has requested that remembrances be made in the form of contributions to Dekorra Lutheran Church, SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children's Foundation, or Glioblastoma Foundation.
