He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Danz and Minnie Danz (Scheidegger); his parents-in-law, James and Grace Lambie; his daughter-in-law Elfie Danz; his siblings, Florence Lelm (Walter), Mildred Goodwin (John) and Leo Danz; his brother-in-law James Lambie; and his nephews, Brian Lambie and Larry Danz.

He is survived by: his wife Ruth Lambie; and his children, David Danz of Platteville, Ernest Danz of Livingston, James Danz (Paula) of Livingston and Beverly Yaun (Richard) of New Glarus. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

“My prayers and thoughts go out to the Danz family as they mourn the loss of Roy. When we were children and as adults I enjoyed visiting the farm; it was always a special occasion. I admired Roy for his hard work and his ability to manage the farm, yet he was such a kind hearted person. When Roy moved to Wisconsin to continue farming in Livingston, we continued to visit, bringing our grandchildren for a very special experience with Roy and his family. We all remember Roy as a very special person.”
