He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Ley and LaVern Ley (Heacock); and his brothers, Ron and Arthur Ley. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Scott of Livingston; his daughters, Mindi Perrich (Tom) of Sun Prairie and Melanie Ley of Madison; his grandchildren, Zachary and Allyson Perrich; and his siblings, Michael Ley (Sandy), Cindy Carl (Mike), Charles Ley, JoAnn Hopper and Daniel (Anna).
