It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joseph J. Klein of Livingston, Wisconsin, who passed away on November 10, 2024, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph H. Klein and Laura Klein (Langkamp); his wife Eileen White; his son Scott; his great grandchild Claire Timmerman; his siblings, Robert Klein, Vincent Klein, Francis Klein, Lawrence Klein, Donna Shoot and Loretta Reuter; and his siblings-in-law, Clifford Reuter, Paul Birkett and Phyllis Klein.
He is survived by: his children, Joe Klein (Debra), Doug Klein, Ron Klein (Debra), Dan Klein (Debra), Angie Canny, Laurie Davis (Rick), Tim Klein, Linda Klein, Marcia Rako (Mark), Alan Klein (Julie), Joyce Metzger (Terry) and Stacy Ponti (Ben); his siblings, Marcella Klein, Eileen Birkett, Nicholas Klein (Marge) and Paul Klein (Evie); and his siblings-in-law, Delores Klein, Ann Klein, Jane Klein and Art Shoot. He is also survived by 35 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 9:00 AM at the Melby Funeral Home & Crematory (1245 N Water St, Platteville, WI 53818). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Joe Klein Memorial Fund.
