He is survived by: his grandson Tanner Man; his wife Deanna Merwin (Laughton); his children, Clayton Merwin (Nancy) and Audra Kuhls (Ryan); his son-in-law David Osterndorff; his nephew Don Rider; his grandchildren, Heather Bowles-Van (Derek), Jonathan Osterndorff, Macy Bowser (Dillon), Colin Merwin, Ethan, Cade and Lexie Kuhls; his great grandchildren, Noah, Bella Bowles, Trinity, Jackson and Aubrey Van Wyk; his brother Harlan Merwin (Ann); his siblings-in-law, Joe Schwartz, Wayne Rider (Maggie) and Judy McKee (Larry); and his pet Charlie.
A memorial fund is being established in Loving Memory of John William Merwin.
