It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gail E. Ellis of Livingston, Wisconsin, who passed away on May 30, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Austin and Leona Austin (Gossel); her husband Kenneth Ellis; and her brother John "Jackie" Austin. She is survived by: her children, Duane Ellis of Cobb, Gary Ellis (Phyllis) of Rewey, Sharon Olson (Dean) of West Salem, Wanda Dieball (Fred) of Colgate and Yvonne Knoche (Rick) of McFarland; and her sister Joan Vesperman of Lancaster. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren.

In lieu of plants and flowers, a memorial fund is being established in loving memory of Gail Ellis.

“I am so sorry to see that you have lost your mother. I remember her mostly from before she and Kenny were married and I would see them at Grandpa and Grandma’s farmhouse on some Sundays. This ,of course, was the farm where they lived later. My mother and dad, Harold and Marianne, always thought a lot of her and I remember her as a quiet very nice person. You have my sympathy.”
