He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Walter Francies and Mildred Francies (Woodring); his brother Richard Francies (Martha); his half-brother Arlen McKinley; his stepson Joel Severson; his brother-in-law Darvin Nagel; and his parents-in-law, Elmer and Esther Zirbel.
He is survived by: his former wife Genevieve Singleton; his wife Janet Severson (Zirbel); his children, Stephen Francies (Phyllis), Renee' (Heinz), Catherine (Steve) and Rebekah Taylor (Clint); his stepsons, Mark Severson (Jill), Glen Severson (Donna) and Hobart; his half-brothers, David McKinley (Nancy) and Thomas McKinley (Shirley) of Indiana; and also, Edith Nagel and Judy McKinley. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, many dear great-grandchildren and at least 4 great great grandchildren.
Due to current restrictions, masks are requested and social distancing.
