He was predeceased by: his parents, Warren C. Lessor and Margaret Lessor; his sister Marie Strong; and his nephew Mike Vissers. He is survived by: his children, Dennis Lessor, Danielle Veith (Andrew), Steve Lessor (Nicole), Amee Bruyette (Charlie) and Marci Lessor (Austin Stebane); his grandchildren, Savannah (Alex Lessor), Mason (Brody Veith), Jayden (Aristotle Lessor) and River Bruyette; and his former wives, Denise Lessor (Mereness) and Christine LaBrec. He is also survived by many other extended family members and countless friends.
