She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Lamers and Anna Lamers (Van Lanen); her husband Francis Schmidt; her siblings, Gordon (Mary), Lyle, Paul (Helen), Marcel Lamers, Ruby, Jane Vosters (Ves), Mary Nackers (Gerald) and Emily Vander Wyst (Gordy); and her siblings-in-law, Bob Haen, Lawrence (Loretta), Leo (Florence), Gerald (Marcella), Norbert (Lucina), Fritz (Eunice), Jerome Schmidt (Audrey) and Agnes Bies (Ray).
She is survived by: her children, Floyd (Edie), Chute Pond, Gib (Sis), Clyde, Sal (Don Cupp), David (Colleen), Ed (Lisa), Bruce (Jodie) and Fran (Tracy); her grandchildren, Jenni Robley (Shane), Jon (Rachel), Rick, Andy (Karen), Sarah (Jeff), Patrick (Lisa), Melanie Kmiecik (Dan), Nic Schmitt (Sara), Ben Schmitt (Lindsay), Ellie Bouressa (Nick), Travis (Kasey), Trevor (Amanda), Trent (Libby), Turner, Jessica Olsen (Joel), Logan (Elise), Calista, Laken and Tavia; her sister Frances Haen; and her sister-in-law Marilyn Lamers. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial is being established.
