He was predeceased by: his parents, George Hermes and Genevieve Hermes (Kobs); his son Zachary; his siblings, Gerald Hermes and Diane Cummings; his brothers-in-law, Ronald Cummings, Bill Moser and Jesse Gilbert; his nephew Will Hermes; and his parents-in-law, Gwen Dalton and Norman Gilbert.
He is survived by: his wife Cindy (Gilbert); his daughters, Stephanie Hermes, Jennifer Wallace and Melody Hermes; his grandchildren, Cole Hermes, Benjamin Wallace, Makayla Hermes, Evelyn Williams and Anais Wallace; his siblings, Linda Hermes, Joann Hermes, Janet Hermes Johnson (Phillip Johnson) and Randy Hermes (Jean Vandenhoever); and his siblings-in-law, Brian Dalton, Terry Dalton, Jim Gilbert and Rene Gilbert. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
