He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard F Mittlestadt and Esther Mittlestadt (Radtke); and his siblings, Vernon Mittlestadt, Glenn Mittlestadt, Richard G Mittlestadt, Donald Mittlestadt and Delores Schafer.
He is survived by: his wife Rita Mittlestadt; and his children, Randal (Cathy), Gail Gerhardt (Greg Brux), Mitchell (Lisa) and Mark (Sara). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, stepchildren, and step grandchildren.
