He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Nechodom and Lorraine Nechodom (Vaubel); his son Kevin; his brother-in-law Michael Kelly; and his nieces and nephews, Melissa, Stephenie, Brian and Todd.

He is survived by: his sons, Todd Nechodom (Tanya) of Kaukauna and Matt Nechodom (Emilie) of Menasha; his grandchildren, Nolan, Nathan and Grace; and his siblings, Michael (Pat), Robert (Debbie), Bruce (Tanya), Jeffrey (Karen), Duane Nechodom (Connie), Carol Kelly, Linda Meidam, Mary Peterson (Dave), Joann Nechodom, Debbie Nechodom and Patty Havel (Ron). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial is being established.
