He is survived by: his children, David Vande Burgt (Marzenia), Dorrie Van Den Bogart, Lisa Janssen and Jim Vande Burgt; his grandchildren, Cass and Bella Vande Burgt; his wife Shirley Vande Burgt; his stepsons, Scott and Brian Pompa; and his former wife Donna Wendt. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
