It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dolores (Lorrie) Van Bakel of Little Chute, Wisconsin, who passed away on March 2, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Bakel and Theodora Van Bakel (Dora Vander Burgt); her siblings, Ardina Pritzl (Ray), Joanne Van Thiel (Ed), Roseanne Welhouse (Harry), Leo Van Bakel (Beryl), Adrian Van Bakel (Terry) and Joe Van Bakel (Angie); her close friend Joyce Konkle; and also Christine Van Bakel.
She is survived by: her friend Ruth Ann LaBine; her nieces, Karen and Peggy; and her nephew Carl. She is also survived by 34 other nieces and nephews along with many great nieces and nephews.
The family has requested that memorials be given to St. John Nepomucene Parish, the Sisters of St. Francis of the Holy Cross of Green Bay, or St. Paul Manor in Kaukauna in memory of Lorrie.
