He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Koch (Bud) and Leah Koch; his sister Karen Andrews; his parents-in-law, Bill and Helen Jakl; and his siblings-in-law, Dennis, Ann Jakl, Jim and Coleen Jakl.
He is survived by: his wife Barb Jakl; his children, Brian Koch (Carla), Kelly Swedberg (John), Craig Koch (Karen) and Daryl Koch (Sue); his grandchildren, Brandon Koch (Whitney Hurst), Katie Koch, Cory Swedberg (Sadie), Tyler Swedberg (Liz), Alyssa Durham (Austin), Chad Koch (Christine), Kasey Vande Voort (Tyler) and Kiana Koch (Andy Swanson); his sisters, Paula Beyer (Dwayne) and Chris Krueger (Michael); his siblings-in-law, Bill and Mary Jakl; and the mother of his children Judy Koch. He is also survived by his 12 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
