He is survived by: his children, Kevin Van Der (Judy), Lucy Schumann (Mike) and Chris Van Der Steen; his grandchildren, Stephanie Van Der Steen, Kelton Hatton, Sandy Hatton, Luke, Ted and Maggie Schumann; his great grandchildren, Serena, Jameson (Kolby) and Kane; and his brother Jerry Van Der (Carol). He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
