Carl A. Verstegen Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Carl A. Verstegen of Little Chute, Wisconsin, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 6, 2024 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Verstegen and Marie Verstegen (Kees); his wife Doris Verstegen (Ambrosius); his son Thomas Verstegen; his grandson Jedidiah Verstegen; his parents-in-law, Louis and Marie Ambrosius (Minten); his brothers, Donald Verstegen and Ross Verstegen; and his siblings-in-law, John LeRoy, Robert Ambrosius, Richard Ambrosius, Marlin Ambrosius, Doris Verstegen, Marian Verstegen, Verna LeRoy, Gen Ambrosius, Phyllis Ambrosius and Clara Kamps.
He is survived by: his children, Sue Harrop (Ed), Mary Sprecher (Pat), Louis Verstegen (Joelle), Jenny Peeters (Gary) and Marty Verstegen (Anne); his grandchildren, Kelly Capps (Nick), Abby Moore (Connor), Leeland Verstegen, Katie Lenerz (Zach), Melissa Chiokadze (Roman), Jacob Peeters (Emily), Kassi Akers (Gibson), Lucas Verstegen, Alex Peeters, Matt Verstegen (Marissa Parent), Jacie, Peter, Hattie and Will Verstegen; his great grandchildren, Aubrey, Liam, Elliot, Rory, Eliza, Harper and Mia; his daughter-in-law Ann Verstegen; and his siblings-in-law, Marilyn Ambrosius and Ken Kamps. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, to honor our father, donations can be made to St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church or American Legion Post 258 Little Chute in his memory.
