He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Tiegs and Ora Tiegs (Degeneffe); his wife Lorraine Bourassa; his stepparents, Charles "Choppie" and Naomi Pecor; his siblings, LaVerne Zipple (Phillip), Ralph, Wesley and Ivan; and his sister-in-law Yvonne Tiegs.
He is survived by: his children, Marilyn Zeitler-Wittlinger (Paul), Pamela Upton (Doug), Laura Schenkoski (Gary), Jerome Tiegs (Cheryl), James Tiegs (Sally) and John Tiegs (Laurie); his siblings, Violet Reed (Jim Bourassa), Donald Tiegs (Heather) and Gerald Tiegs (Donna); his sister-in-law Shirley Tiegs; his grandchildren, Clarisse, Jennifer, Luke, Kate, Zach, Monica, Chance, Jason, Jill, Danielle, Peter, Elijah, Timothy and Adam; and his great grandchildren, Sandrea, Katherine, Christian, Erika, Hunter, Hutson, Zoey, Everett, Marissa, Kelvin, Garrett, Caleb, Ava, Oliver, Bree and Clark.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, April 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Gallagher Funeral Home & Cremation Service (217 Congress St, Oconto, WI 54153). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
