He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Thomson and Alice Thomson (LeFevre); and his siblings-in-law, Roger, Dewey and Marcia.
He is survived by: his wife Lois M. Svejda; his sons, Tim Thomson (Jodene), Scott Thomson and Randy Thomson; his granddaughters, Casey Meyer (Trent) and Mikaela Thomson; and his siblings, Richard Thomson, Eileen Shallow, Joyce Gordon (Phil), Mary Lynn Shallow and David Thomson (Mary Kay). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, private services will be held.
In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, donations can be made to Unity Hospice in his memory.
