He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Warden and Lorraine Warden (Jolly); and his siblings-in-law, Frank Siporski and Darlene Warden. He is survived by: his wife Gloria Nemetz; his children, Lori Warden (John Reinke), Kevin Warden (Chris), Sarah Hebel (Darren), Susan "Sue" Warden (Randy Thome) and Paul Warden (Shari); his siblings, Mary Ann Siporski and Jerome Warden; his niece Mary Lynn Siporski; his nephew Joey Siporski; and also, Betty Conrad, Merle Watzka and John Barrett. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandson.

In lieu of flowers, memorials directed to St. Jude Children's Hospital in Richard's name are appreciated.
