He was predeceased by: his father Fredrick John; his significant other Grace McCormick; his former wife Genevieve Weber; and his siblings, Fredrick Ozzie, Ina (Kurth) and Margaret Rieke (James).
He is survived by: his nieces and nephews, Pat Murphy, Debi Childs (Larry), Barbara Heine (Al), Fred Schubert (Cindy) and Andy Schubert (Shawnett); and his niece-in-law Deb Amore. He is also survived by great nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
