He was predeceased by: his parent Donald Sr.. He is survived by: his parent Betty Tate (Manier); his wife Barbara; his children, Tanner Tate (Chelsea) and Kylie Faskell (George); his grandchildren, Caydance, Peyton and Gaige; his siblings, Doug Tate (Debbie), Tim Tate, Jon Tate (Jodi) and Linda Mocine (Ralph); his sister-in-law Florence Tate; and his brother Robert "Bob" Tate. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
