With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Daniel Robert Pontow (Larsen, Wisconsin), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Daniel Robert left this world on January 24, 2025 at the age of 74, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Pontow and Geraldine Pontow (Konow); his grandparents, Andrew, Verna Konow (Carow), Theodore and Lulu Pontow; his stepmother Tess Pontow; his stepgrandmother Leone Pontow; his parents-in-law, Arthur "Bunny" and Elizabeth "Betty" Mueller; his aunt Betty Baker; his uncles, Jay Baker, Bob Trelka and Alerd Anderson; and his nephew Joe Pontow.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Sue Mueller of Paul's Lutheran Church; his children, Molly Thomas (Danny) and Danny Pontow (Amber); his grandchildren, William Aird, Talia Duncan (Justin), Mason Aird, Dominic Pontow, Dawson Pontow and Dalton Pontow; his great grandchild Thomas Duncan; his siblings, Tom Pontow (Carol), Garold Pontow (Debra), Robert Pontow (Barbara), Connie Loewe (Loren), Deb Hildebrand (Ron), Suzanne Sattler (Darren) and Sandy Therrian (Jeff); his aunts, Sally Trelka and Germaine Anderson; and his pet Lovey. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Grace Lutheran Church of Winchester (8396 Steeple Hill Dr, Larsen, WI 54947). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials will be established for Grace Lutheran Church, and the Winneconne School District Band Program, ATTN: Julie Buss, P.O. Box 5000 Winneconne, WI 54986.
