Joan T. Matiash Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan T. Matiash of Laona, Wisconsin, born in Lawrence, Massachusetts, who passed away on December 3, 2021 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Martinkus and Sophie Martinkus; her husbands, Chester G. Matiash and Chet; her son Chester W. Matiash; her daughter-in-law Rita Matiash; and her siblings, Irene Farwell and Francis Martinkus.
She is survived by: her children, Elaine Thom (Dana) of Salem, NH and Paul Matiash of Londonderry, NH; and her daughter-in-law Lisa Matiash of Londonderry, NH. She is also survived by six grandchildren; eight great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to MSCPA at Nevins Farm, 400 Broadway, Methuen, MA.
