He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Bungert and Pauline Bungert (Helbach); his wife Barbara Salzman; and his siblings, Chester, Donald, Edward, Harry, Helen Schwartz and Marie Flatoff.
He is survived by: his daughters, Jacqueline "Jackie" Gruna (Ken) of Bevent and Donna Tobias (Steve) of Germantown; and his siblings, Peter Bungert (Barb) of Sussex, Michael Bungert (Shirley) of Weston and Josephine Wanta of Bevent. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
