With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Eric Nelson of Lannon, Wisconsin, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Eric left this world on December 22, 2024 at the age of 71, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Joseph Nelson and Natalie "Doll" Nelson; his sister Natalie "Nettie" Erickson; his sister-in-law Laurie Nelson; and his wife Elizabeth Kathleen Nelson of Menomonee Falls.

He is survived by: his sons, Christopher "Chris" Nelson of Campbellsport, Paul Nelson (Melisa) of Colgate, Adam Nelson of Lannon and Eric "Ricky" Nelson Jr. of Lannon; his grandchildren, Erin (Samuel), Grace Nelson and Wyatt Nelson; his great grandchildren, Eleanor Brown, Sullivan Brown and William Brown; his siblings, Ted Nelson (Wendy), Margaret "Margo" Thorsen (Terry), Dennis Nelson, Paul Nelson, Nick Nelson and Kristin Heppe (Jay); and his uncle Dennis "Dinty" Reilly (Mary). He is also survived by in-laws, nieces, and nephews.

Visitation was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:45 PM at the Schmidt Funeral Home of West Bend (629 Cedar St, West Bend, WI 53095). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
