He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Knotwell and Lois Knotwell (Duncan); and his uncle Roger Knotwell. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Jay of Lancaster; his son Russell Knotwell (Amanda Grimme) of Lancaster; his grandchildren, Hunter and Paige Knotwell; his sister Peggy Timmerman (Kevin) of Lancaster; and his nieces and nephews, Jacob, Toni-Jo and Jared Timmerman.
