Verna Jean Casper Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Verna Jean Casper of Lancaster, Wisconsin, who passed away on February 19, 2022. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Vern Monroe and Cecil Monroe (Taylor); her son Terry Slaght; her stepsons, Allen and Richard Casper; and her stepdaughter-in-law Diane Casper.
She is survived by: her former husbands, Robert Slaght and Gordon Griffin; her husband Donald Casper; her children, Ronald Slaght (Jane), Penny Heberlein (William) and Daniel Slaght (Debbie); her grandchildren, Michael Slaght (Kathy), Angela Mogensen (Gary), Tyler Slaght (Jenna), Leah Slaght (Christian), Kelly Schulz (Craig), Kim Ballweg (Tim), Scott Heberlein (Sara) and Todd Slaght (Shayla); and her stepchildren, Dan Casper (Nina), Leo Casper (Marlene), Susie Gray, Marie Rector (Tom), Larry Casper (Heather) and Joyce Wenzinger (Jack). She is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren.
