He was predeceased by: his parents, Erskine Blackbourn and Larene Blackbourn (Barr); his wife Betty Jamison; his siblings, Russell Blackbourn and Ruth Palmer; and his siblings-in-law, Delores Jensen, Janet Blum, Earl Dailey, James Palmer, Neal Christensen Jr., Clifford Caley, James Vondrum, Richard Krohn and Bud Jensen.
He is survived by: his uncle Dr. Blackbourn; his daughter Jane Whitish (Jack) of Fennimore; his granddaughters, Amanda of Verona and Adrienne Whitish of Verona; his sisters, Maude Dailey of Platteville, Winifred Christensen of Oregon, Mary Lou Vondrum of Platteville and Ellen Krohn of Beetown; and his brothers-in-law, John Jamison of Beetown and Paul "Pete" Blum of Lancaster. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
