He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Sr. Boardman and Pearl Boardman (Frankland); his daughter Marilyn Keene; his former wife Judy Taylor; his sister-in-law Dorene Boardman; and his pet Sammy.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Ian Carney (Kristiana), Shaina Carney (Zach), Alexis Kruser, Faith Brumm (Carson), Nicole Walther and Josh Walther; his siblings, Robert (Joanne) and Rebecca (Rex); his children, Chris (Becky) and Michelle Casper (Charles) of Bagley, WI; and his grandchildren, Jacob Kotte (Morgan), Joshua Kotte, Riley Casper, Kayli, LeeLee and Ashton Schnitzler. He is also survived by great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great-nephews, and great-nieces.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Garrity Funeral Home (704 S Ohio St, Prairie du Chien, WI 53821). A memorial service was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
