She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Purgett and Florence Purgett (Bergstrom); and her husband Otto David Sauer. She is survived by: her children, Rhonda Adler (Gary) of Nevada City, CA, Renee Gavin (Bob) of Sheboygan, Otto Ross Sauer of Sheboygan, Regina Steinhardt (Steve) of Ada and Ramona Priem (Mike) of Sheboygan Falls; her grandchildren, Eric Konz (Trine), Matthew Konz, Andrea Gomez (Mario), Phillip Priem, Samantha Priem, Courtney Steinhardt and Michaela Steinhardt; her great grandchildren, Amalia Rincon, Azelea Rincon, Astreya Rincon, Angelita Rincon, Myah Konz, Austin Konz and Madison Konz; and her great great grandchild Aesai Valenciana. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Due to the Covid-19 restrictions, a Celebration of Janet's Life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Immanuel UCC Church in Janet's name.
