He was predeceased by: his parents, Norbert Rentmeester and Evelyn Rentmeester (Goffard); and his siblings, Dick Rentmeester and Karen Mikulsky. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Rentmeester (Mooren); his children, Diane Collier (Jerry), Jim Rentmeester Jr., Roxanne Blochowiak (Larry), Gary Rentmeester (Terese), Suzanne Frank (Brian) and Julianne Whisman (Steve); his grandchildren, Katie, Aaron, Christine (Aaron), Kayla, Erica (Austin), Holly, Paige, Morgan, Dawson, Mackenzie and Ryan; his great grandchildren, Brantley and Dexter; his siblings, Jo Schuessler (Pat), Melvin Rentmeester (Kathy) and Tom Rentmeester; his sister-in-law Connie Sandlin (Garld); and his parents-in-law, Elaine Green (Ron), Pat Ambrosius, Sylvester "Jupe" Mooren (Judy) and Ella Stettler (Dave). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
