He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond VanGheem and Charlotte VanGheem; his siblings, Dick VanGheem and Mary Vissers (Tony); and his parents-in-law, Mary Weycker (Bakken) and Orville Weycker.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra "Sandi" VanGheem (Weycker); his children, Kristine "Kris" Payant (Robert), Dana VanGheem, Wendi Scharenbroch and Alan "Al" VanGheem (Melissa); his friend Marty Johnson; his grandchildren, Josh Johnson, Michael Johnson, Jesse Johnson, Adam Johnson, Caleb Payant, Nathan Scharenbroch, Cody VanGheem (Heather) and Alyssa VanGheem; his great grandchild Eleanore VanGheem; and his siblings, John VanGheem (Michelle), Jim VanGheem and Sue Walsh (Mike). He is also survived by Numerous nieces and nephews.
