He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred "Pat" and Muriel LaPlant (Lynch); his brother Harold; and his brother-in-law Harry Rector. He is survived by: his siblings, Mary Kveton (Andrew) of Menominee, Nancy Rector of Port Charlotte, FL and Bill LaPlant (Kathy) of Vacaville, CA; and his friend Annette Raby.
