He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Zimmerman and Dolores Zimmerman (Hamilton); and his uncles, George and Dean Zimmerman. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Zimmerman; his children, Ashley Brod (Kevin Larson) and Robert Maxwell "Max" Zimmerman (Josie Graefe); his grandchildren, Emily Brod, Madeline Ratliff, Danielle Zimmerman, Anna Zimmerman, Ella Zimmerman and Riley Zimmerman; and his siblings, Donna Rickman (Ron), Sue Fritche and John Zimmerman (Deb).
