He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary O'Brien (McKeon) and Benjamin O'Brien; his wife Rita; his grandchildren, Blake and Natalie; and his siblings, Francis, Harold, Lawrence, Melvin, Delvin, Joan and Judy.
He is survived by: his children, Michael O'Brien (Amy), Daniel O'Brien (Carolyn), Sheila O'Brien and Sean O'Brien (Kelly Wolfe); and his siblings, Paul O'Brien, Patrick O'Brien (Betty), Jean Stopper (Phil) and Mary Karow. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, and other friends.
