With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gerald W. Loar (Lake Tomahawk, Wisconsin), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 13, 2024 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Willis and Emma Thompkins Mecherle; his parents, Alwillah Mecherle Loar and Nelson A. Loar; and his brothers, Roger and Randy Loar.
He is survived by: his spouse Sauntra Dillman Loar; his siblings, Nelson and Valerie Loar Kiefe; his children, Jay Dillman Loar (Elizabeth Alexander Loar) and Amber Loar Weldon; his son-in-law Jeff Weldon; his grandsons, Cole Weldon (Ally) and Seth Weldon (Kayla); his brother Dennis; his sister-in-law Sue Dillman Robertson; his niece Stephanie (Todd Skotterud) of Dillman's Bay Resort; and his nephew Scott (James Deskevich).
In lieu of flowers, family would appreciate donations to Lake Tomahawk Bible Church.
