He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Hughes and Lila Hughes (Frenette); and his sister Helen Hursh. He is survived by: his wife Michele Barnaby; his sons, Travis Hanson (Angela) of Superior, WI and Ryan Hanson (Michelle); and his grandchildren, Isabella, Sophia, Josie Hanson, Shyloh Taylor, Max and Samuel Hanson.
