He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold Hopmann and Esther Hopmann; his son Matthew; and his sisters, Marsha and Marlene Hopmann.
He is survived by: his wife Bette of Paul's Lutheran Church; and his children, Jeffrey Hopmann (Vickie), Michael Hopmann, Janet Newhouse (Rich) and Julie Hartwig. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; as well as other relatives and friends.
