He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Brendemuehl and Elsie Brendemuehl (Mueller); his spouse Shirley Spaulding; his brother Ray Brendemuehl; and his sister-in-law Betty Brendemuehl.
He is survived by: his children, Gary Brendemuehl (Kathleen "Kitty") of Cottage Grove, WI, Sharon Lutzen (William "Bill") of Pewaukee, WI and Donna Tate (Scott) of Pewaukee, WI; his grandchildren, Jeremy Brendemuehl (Melissa), Heather McCumber, Sara Luck (Rob), Greg Lutzen (Kelly), Jennifer Restock (Bill), Michelle Adyniec (Andrew), Eric Lutzen (Stephanie), Ryan Tate and Emma Tate; and his great grandchildren, Autumn, Ariana, Ayla, Annaeli, Amiya, Lily, Ella, Will, Finley, Odin, Hazel, Adalyn and Conrad. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
