It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Patrick Lira of Lake Mills, Wisconsin, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on March 13, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Emilio Lira and Stacia Lira (Tomczyk); his former wife Walterine "Terry" Lira; his son Patrick; and his brothers-in-law, Herman Lefkow and Richard Markward.
He is survived by: his wife Dawn Taubensee of Lake Mills; his children, Rena Lira of Chicago, IL, Petrina Simms (Dennis) of Beaver Dam, Martin Lira (Linda) of Lake Mills and Nina Jacobson (Eric) of Bartlett, IL; his son-in-law Len Choyce; his stepchildren, Mark Taubensee of Rolling Meadows, IL and Amy Campbell (Bobby) of Greenfield, IN; his grandchildren, Alexandra Choyce Morales (Omar), Arielle Choyce, Andreanna Choyce, Grant Lira, Talia Jacobson, Gavin Lira, Truman Jacobson, Samantha Campbell and Ryan Campbell; his great grandchildren, Aquamarine Morales and Arya Morales; and his sisters, Delphina Lefkow and Beverly Chapman (Les). He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
