She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter E. Topel and Martha Topel (Kasten); and her siblings, Jenny Fry (Wally), Ora Topel (Ruth) and Milton Topel.
She is survived by: her husband Howard DeForest; her daughter Sandra Zade (Larry); her grandchildren, Cheryl Olsen (Larry), Ken Zade and Colleen Mazemke (Scott); her great grandchildren, Jessica Olsen, Katie Mohammadian (Mehran), Matthew Olsen (Kelly), Chelsey Ward (Jake) and Caylee Mazemke; her great great grandchild Emilia Mohammadian; and her sister-in-law Bethene Pitterle. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated to the church.
