He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Johnson and Ruby Johnson (Bentheimer); his sisters, Phyllis Johnson and Geraldine Wilde; and his stepson Daniel Collins.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his children, Gretchen Riese (Tim) and Paul Johnson; his stepsons, Jon Collins and Thomas Collins (Renee); and his siblings, Gary Johnson (Barb), Cathy Dathen (Dick), Marie Kunter (George) and Sandy Johnson. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; six great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated to the family.
