He was predeceased by: his parents, Alzo Nelson and Aurora Nelson (Wienke); his wife Donna Marie Duwell; and his siblings, Louise Anderson and Dale Nelson.
He is survived by: his sons, Jeffrey Nelson (Chris) of Polson, MT, Larry Nelson of Cambridge, Scott Nelson of Cambridge, Douglas Nelson (Valerie) of Cambridge and Daniel Nelson (Nina) of Waunakee; his brother Lloyd Nelson of Bristol, WI.; and his siblings-in-law, Robert Anderson and Valerie Nelson. He is also survived by several grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren.
If desired, memorials may be made to the Lake Mills United Methodist Church or Rainbow Hospice.
