James D. Oertel Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James D. Oertel of Lake Mills, Wisconsin, who passed away on March 10, 2023 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Erhardt Oertel and Viola Oertel (Hass); and his brothers, Bill Oertel and Dave Oertel. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth A. Krupp; his sons, Benjamin Oertel (Jessica), Michael Oertel (Christina) and Joshua Oertel (Megan); his brother Bob Oertel (Sandy); and his sisters-in-law, Dianne Oertel and Gertrude Oertel. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated to the Lake Mills High School Music Department or the Lake Mills High School Soccer Program.
