He was predeceased by: his parents, Phillip Franks and Helen; and his brothers, Thomas, Tracy and Gary Franks.
He is survived by: his wife Diane Kottwitz; his son Derek Franks; and his siblings, Rick Franks (Ardith), Mike Franks (Carol), Phyllis Lowe (Jeff) of Sparta, Jody Franks, Madison and Carole. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
