With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elaine E. Strakeljahn of Lake Mills, Wisconsin, who passed away on September 22, 2020 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Wolff and Esther Wolff (Robisch) of Lake Mills; her husband Martin Strakeljahn; her brother Sid Wolf; her sister-in-law Evelyn "Mac" Wolff; her children-in-law, Dennis Cooper and Laurie White (Hans); and her grandson-in-law Robert Borgstede.
She is survived by: her children, Joni Panitzke (Peter) of Muskego, WI, Bob (Laura Bouslough) of Lake Mills and Janet Cooper of Madison, WI; her sisters, Evelyn Strakeljahn (Robert) and Jeannette Hills (Wayne) of Lake Mills; and her grandchildren, Sarah Borgstede (Ed Jacobs) of Belleville, IL, David Panitzke of Muskego, WI, Stephen Panitzke (Molly) of Wind Lake, WI, Nathan Panitzke of Milwaukee, WI, Chandler White of Lake Mills and Hayden White of Mequon, WI. She is also survived by nine great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.
Memorials may be given to the building fund of St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church in Lake Mills.
