He was predeceased by: his parents, George M. Nelson and Helen L. Nelson (Paaske); his wife Sandra Stephan; and his brother Robert Nelson. He is survived by: his sons, Jon Nelson and Jeffrey Nelson (Deanna); his grandchildren, Natalie and Zachary Nelson; and his brother-in-law Vern Stephan (Nancy). He is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
