He is survived by: his wife Sandra D. Clark; his children, Derrick Carter, Thelma D. Smiley, Robert J. Smiley and Dontra Williams; his grandchildren, Velencia, Shakeya, Latajia, Nicholas, Barry, Deontee, Domonique, Ashley, Jyeir, Bryce and Marco; and his siblings, Ida Ruth, Florence Mae, Charlie Keller and Mattie Jean. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relative and many friends.
