He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Thompson and Marie Thompson; and his sisters, Charlene "Chucky", Margaret "Peggy", Marie Jean and Arlene.

He is survived by: his wife Candy; his children, Ronald Bloom Jr., Heather Fradkin (Melissa), Anne Marie Thompson (Tiffany) and Jonathon Goldoff; his grandchildren, Ariell, Willie, Kayden, Kiley Justyce, Britteney, Sanora and Zack; and his sister Sharon.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Chapel on the Hill (N2440 Ara Gln Dr, Lake Geneva, WI 53147). The military honors will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 11:15 AM at the same location. A reception will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
